Psalm 41:1-3 Part 1 of 2

Blessed are those who have regard for the weak; the LORD delivers them in times of trouble. The LORD protects and preserves them--they are counted among the blessed in the land--he does not give them over to the desire of their foes. The LORD sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness. 

Blessed 
Deuteronomy 14:28-29  At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year's produce and store it in your towns, so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

are those who have regard for the weak 
Job 24:1-4  "Why does the Almighty not set times for judgment? Why must those who know him look in vain for such days? There are those who move boundary stones; they pasture flocks they have stolen. They drive away the orphan's donkey and take the widow's ox in pledge. They thrust the needy from the path and force all the poor of the land into hiding."

the LORD delivers them in times of trouble 
Psalm 25:17  Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish.

The LORD protects 
Psalm 12:5  "Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan, I will now arise," says the LORD. "I will protect them from those who malign them."
Psalm 32:7  You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.
