But if our
unrighteousness brings out God's righteousness more clearly, what shall
we say? That God is unjust in bringing his wrath on us? (I am using a
human argument.) Certainly not! If that were so, how could God judge the
world? Someone might argue, "If my falsehood enhances God's
truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am I still condemned as a
sinner?" Why not say--as some slanderously claim that we say--"Let us do
evil that good may result"? Their condemnation is just!

Romans 9:18-21 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.

Romans 6:19-23 I am using an example from everyday life because of your human limitations. Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness leading to holiness. When you were slaves to sin you were free from the control of righteousness. What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Galatians 3:15 Brothers and sisters, let me take an example from everyday life. Just as no one can set aside or add to a human covenant that has been duly established, so it is in this case.

GLORY Romans 2:6-8 Part 1 of 2

GLORY John 17:24
"Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world."

Jesus had performed so many signs in their presence, they still would
not believe in him. This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet:

hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with

GLORY John 11:4
When he heard this Jesus said, "This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God's glory so that God's Son may be glorified through it."
John 11:40 Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?"
John 13:31-32 When he was gone, Jesus said, "Now the Son of Man is glorified and God is glorified in him. If God is glorified in him, God will glorify the Son in himself, and will glorify him at once."
John 12:23 Jesus replied, "The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified."
John 14:12-13 "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son."

GLORY John 8:54
Jesus replied, "If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me."
John 8:50 "I am not seeking glory for myself; but there is one who seeks it, and he is the judge."
John 16:14 "He (the Spirit of truth) will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you."
John 17:1-5 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: "Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began."

GLORY John 8:48-50
The Jews answered him, "Aren't we right in saying that you are a Samaritan and demon-possessed?" "I am not possessed by a demon," said Jesus, "But I honor my Father and you dishonor me. I am not seeking glory for myself; but there is one who seeks it, and he is the judge."
Aren't we right in saying that you are a Samaritan
Matthew 10:5-6 These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: "Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel."
and demon-possessed
John 8:52 At this they exclaimed, "Now we know that you are demon-possessed! Abraham died and so did the prophets, yet you say that whoever obeys your word will never taste death."
Mark 3:22 And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem said, "He is possessed by Beelzebul! By the prince of demons he is driving out demons."
I am not seeking glory for myself
