God, I put my trust. I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor
let my enemies triumph over me. No one who hopes in you will ever be put
to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without
cause.

I have reached its remotest parts, the finest of its forests." ' "

Deuteronomy 17:16 The king, moreover, must not acquire great numbers of horses for himself or make the people return to Egypt to get more of them, for the LORD has told you, "You are not to go back that way again."
Psalm 33:17 A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save.

my trust in gold or said to pure gold, 'You are my security,' if I have
rejoiced over my great wealth, the fortune my hands had gained, if I
have regarded the sun in its radiance or the moon moving in splendor, so
that my heart was secretly enticed and my hand offered them a kiss of
homage, then these also would be sins to be judged, for I would have
been unfaithful to God on high." (Job)

TRUST Job 31:24-28 Part 1 of 5
"If I have put my trust in gold or said to pure gold, 'You are my security,' if I have rejoiced over my great wealth, the fortune my hands had gained, if I have regarded the sun in its radiance or the moon moving in splendor, so that my heart was secretly enticed and my hand offered them a kiss of homage, then these also would be sins to be judged, for I would have been unfaithful to God on high." TRUST Job 15:15-16

TRUST Job 8:14-15
"What they (all who forget God) trust in is fragile; what they rely on is a spider's web. They lean on the web, but it gives way; they cling to it, but it does not hold."

Job 27:18-19 "The house he (the wicked) builds is like a moth's cocoon, like a hut made by a watchman. He lies down wealthy, but will do so no more; when he opens his eyes, all is gone."
Isaiah 59:5-6 They hatch the eggs of vipers and spin a spider's web. Whoever eats their eggs will die, and when one is broken, an adder is hatched. Their cobwebs are useless for clothing; they cannot cover themselves with what they make. Their deeds are evil deeds, and acts of violence are in their hands.

TRUST 1 Chronicles 9:22-23
Altogether, those chosen to be gatekeepers at the thresholds numbered 212. They were registered by genealogy in their villages. The gatekeepers had been assigned to their positions of trust by David and Samuel the seer. They and their descendants were in charge of guarding the gates of the house of the LORD--the house called the tent of meeting.
those chosen to be gatekeepers
1 Chronicles 9:17-18 The gatekeepers: Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman and their fellow Levites, Shallum their chief being stationed at the King's Gate on the east, up to the present time. These were the gatekeepers belonging to the camp of the Levites.
