1 Peter 4:17-19

For it is time for judgment to begin with God's household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And, "If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?" So then, those who suffer according to God's will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.

1 Peter 3:17  For it is better, if it is God's will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
1 Peter 2:19-20  For it is commendable if someone bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because they are conscious of God. But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. 
1 Peter 4:15-17  If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However,if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. For it is time for judgment to begin with God's household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? 
Titus 2:13-14  ... while we wait for the blessed hope--the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
Titus 2:7a  In everything set them an example by doing what is good.
Matthew 5:16  "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
2 Corinthians 8:21  For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord, but also in the eyes of man.
Ephesians 2:10  For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church--for we are members of his body. "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh." (Genesis 2:24) This is a profound mystery--but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

Ephesians 2:14-16  For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.
