Psalm 39:1

I said, "I will watch my ways and keep my tongue from sin; I will put a muzzle on my mouth while in the presence of the wicked."

I said, "I will watch my ways ..." 
1 Kings 2:1-4  When the time drew near for David to die, he gave a charge to Solomon his son. "I am about to go the way of all the earth," he said. "So be strong, act like a man, and observe what the LORD your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. James 1:26-27  Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. Many have become my enemies without cause; those who hate me without reason are numerous. Those who repay my good with evil lodge accusations against me, though I seek only to do what is good.

For I am about to fall, and my pain is ever with me. I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin.

Those who want to kill me set their traps, those who would harm me talk of my ruin; all day long they scheme and lie. I am like the deaf, who cannot hear, like the mute, who cannot speak; I have become like one who does not hear, whose mouth can offer no reply.

Psalm 37:39-40

The salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD; he is their stronghold in time of trouble. The LORD helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them because they take refuge in him.

Psalm 37:37-38

Consider the blameless, observe the upright; a future awaits those who seek peace. But all sinners will be destroyed; there will be no future for the wicked.

Psalm 37:18  The blameless spend their days under the LORD's care, and their inheritance will endure forever.

Isaiah 57:1-2  The righteous perish and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.

But all sinners 
Psalm 1:1-2  Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night.

will be destroyed 
Psalm 37:1-2  Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away.
Psalm 73:19  How suddenly they are destroyed, completely swept away by terrors!

there will be no future for the wicked 
Psalm 37:9  For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.

Psalm 37:32-33

The wicked lie in wait for the righteous, intent on putting them to death; but the LORD will not leave them in the power of the wicked or let them be condemned when brought to trial.

He was also angry with the three friends, because they had found no way to refute Job, and yet had condemned him. Now Elihu had waited before speaking to Job because they were older than he. But when he saw that the three men had nothing more to say, his anger was aroused.
Psalm 34:22  The LORD will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.

when brought to trial 
2 Peter 2:9  ... if this is so (see verses 4-8), then the LORD knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.

Psalm 37:14-15

The wicked draw the sword and bend the bow to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose ways are upright. But their swords will pierce their own hearts, and their bows will be broken.

Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret--it leads only to evil.
