Psalm 38:12-14

Those who want to kill me set their traps, those who would harm me talk of my ruin; all day long they scheme and lie. I am like the deaf, who cannot hear, like the mute, who cannot speak; I have become like one who does not hear, whose mouth can offer no reply.

Those who want to kill me set their traps
Psalm 31:4  Keep me free from the trap that is set for me, for you are my refuge.
Psalm 140:5  The arrogant have hidden a snare for me; they have spread out the cords of their net and have set traps for me along my path.
Psalm 141:9  Keep me safe from the traps set by evildoers, from the snares they have laid for me.

those who would harm me talk of my ruin
Psalm 35:4  May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame; may those who plot my ruin be turned back in dismay.
Psalm 41:5  My enemies say of me in malice, "When will he die and his name perish?"

all day long they scheme and lie
Psalm 35:20  They do not speak peaceably, but devise false accusations against those who live quietly in the land.

I am like the deaf, who cannot hear
Psalm 115:6  They have ears, but cannot hear, noses but cannot smell.
Psalm 135:17  They have ears, but cannot hear, nor is there breath in their mouths.
Isaiah 43:8  Lead out those who have eyes but are blind, who have ears but are deaf.
Mark 7:37  People were overwhelmed with amazement. "He has done everything well," they said. "He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak."
