Psalm 20:7

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.

Some trust in chariots
2 Kings 19:22-24  " 'Who is it you (Sennacherib king of Assyria) have ridiculed and blasphemed? Against whom have you raised your voice and lifted your eyes in pride? Against the Holy One of Israel! By your messengers you have ridiculed the Lord. And you have said, "With my many chariots I have ascended the heights of the mountains, the utmost heights of Lebanon. I have cut down the tallest cedars, the choicest of its junipers. I have reached its remotest parts, the finest of its forests. I have dug wells in foreign lands and have drunk the water there. With the soles of my feet I have dried up all the streams of Egypt." ' "

and some in horses
Deuteronomy 17:16  The king, moreover, must not acquire great numbers of horses for himself or make the people return to Egypt to get more of them, for the LORD has told you, "You are not to go back that way again."
Psalm 33:17  A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save.
Psalm 147:10-11  His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of the warrior; the LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.
Proverbs 21:31  The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the LORD.
Isaiah 31:1  Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses, who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horsemen, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the LORD.
Isaiah 36:8-9  " 'Come now, make a bargain with my master, the king of Assyria: I will give you two thousand horses--if you can put riders on them! How then can you repulse one officer of the least of my master's officials, even though you are depending on Egypt for chariots and horsemen?' "

but we trust in the name of the LORD our God
2 Chronicles 32:7-8  "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles." And the people gained confidence from what Hezekiah the king of Judah said.
