Psalm 30:5

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

For his anger 
Psalm 103:9-10  He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.

lasts only a moment 
Job 14:13  "If only you would hide me in the grave and conceal me until your anger has passed! If only you would set me a time and then remember me!"

but his favor lasts a lifetime 
Ezra 3:11  With praise and thanksgiving they sang to the LORD: "He is good; his love toward Israel endures forever." And all the people gave a great shout of praise to the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.

weeping may stay the night 
2 Samuel 15:30  But David continued up the Mount of Olives, weeping as he went; his head was covered and he was barefoot. All the people with him covered their heads too and were weeping as they went up.
Psalm 6:6  I am worn out from my groaning. All night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears.
Psalm 126:6  Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.
Jeremiah 31:16  This is what the LORD says: "Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for your work will be rewarded," declares the LORD. "They will return from the land of the enemy."

but rejoicing comes in the morning 
2 Corinthians 4:17  For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
