Psalm 28:9 Part 1 of 3

Save your people and bless your inheritance; be their shepherd and carry them forever. 

Save your people 
1 Chronicles 16:35  Cry out, "Save us, God our Savior; gather us and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name, and glory in your praise."
Psalm 106:47  Save us, LORD our God, and gather us from the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise.
Psalm 118:25  LORD, save us! LORD, grant us success!

and bless your inheritance 
Exodus 34:9  "Lord," he (Moses) said, "if I have found favor in your eyes, then let the Lord go with us. although this is a stiff-necked people, forgive our wickedness and our sin, and take us as your inheritance."


be their shepherd 
1 Chronicles 11:2  "In the past, even while Saul was king, you were the one who led Israel on their military campaigns. And the LORD your God said to you, 'You will shepherd my people Israel, and you will become their ruler.' "
Psalm 23:1  The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
Psalm 78:52  But he brought his people out like a flock; he led them like sheep through the wilderness.
