Psalm 76:7-9 Part 2 of 2

It is you alone who are to be feared. Who can stand before you when you are angry? From heaven you pronounced judgment, and the land feared and was quiet--when you, God, rose to judge, to save all the afflicted of the land.

From heaven you pronounced judgment, and the land feared and was quiet 
1 Chronicles 16:30  Tremble before him, all the earth! The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.
Ezekiel 38:20  " 'The fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the peoples on the face of the earth will tremble at my presence. The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground.' "

when you, God, rose up to judge 
Psalm 9:8  He rules the world in righteousness and judges the people with equity.
Psalm 58:11  Then people will say, "Surely the righteous still are rewarded; surely there is a God who judges the earth."
Psalm 74:22  Rise up, O God, and defend your cause; remember how fools mock you all day long.
Psalm 82:8  Rise up, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are your inheritance.
Psalm 96:13  Let all creation rejoice before the LORD, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his faithfulness.

to save all the afflicted of the land 
Psalm 72:4  May he defend the afflicted among the people and save the children of the needy; may he crush the oppressor.
