Psalm 53:4-6

Do all these evildoers know nothing? They devour my people as though eating bread; they never call on God. But there they are, overwhelmed with dread, where there is nothing to dread. God scattered the bones of those who attacked you; you put them to shame, for God despised them. Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion! When God restores his people, let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!

But there they are, overwhelmed with dread, where there is nothing to dread 
Leviticus 26:17  " 'I will set my face against you so that you will be defeated by your enemies; those who hate you will rule over you, and you will flee even when no one is pursuing you.' "

God scattered the bones
2 Kings 23:14  Josiah smashed the sacred stones and cut down the Asherah poles and covered the sites with human bones.
Psalm 141:7  They will say, "As one plows and breaks up the earth, so our bones have been scattered at the mouth of the grave."
Jeremiah 8:1-2  " 'At that time, declares the LORD, the bones of the kings and officials of Judah, the bones of the priests and prophets, and the bones of the people of Jerusalem will be removed from their graves. They will be exposed to the sun and the moon and all the stars of the heavens, which they have loved and served and which they have followed and consulted and worshiped. They will not be gathered up or buried, but they will be like dung lying on the ground.' "
Ezekiel 6:5  " 'I will lay the dead bodies of the Israelites in front of their idols, and I will scatter your bones around your altar.' "

of those who attacked you 
2 Kings 17:20  Therefore the LORD rejected all the people of Israel; he afflicted them and gave them into the hands of plunderers, until he thrust them from his presence.

you put them to shame 
Job 8:22  "Your enemies will be clothed in shame, and the tents of the wicked will be no more."

for God despised them 
Jeremiah 6:30  "They are called rejected silver, because the LORD has rejected them." (the hardened rebels, the wicked)
Jeremiah 14:19  Have you rejected Judah completely? Do you despise Zion? Why have you afflicted us so that we cannot be healed? We hoped for peace but no good has come, for a time of healing but there is only terror.
Lamentations 5:21-22  Restore us to yourself, LORD, that we may return; renew our days as of old unless you have utterly rejected us and are angry with us beyond measure.
