Psalm 52:1-2

Title: When Doeg the Edomite had gone to Saul and told him: "David has gone to the house of Ahimelek."
Why do you boast of evil, you mighty hero? Why do you boast all day long, you who are a disgrace in the eyes of God? You who practice deceit, your tongue plots destruction: it is like a sharpened razor.

1 Samuel 21:7  Now one of Saul's servants was there that day, detained before the LORD; he was Doeg the Edomite, Saul's chief shepherd.
1 Samuel 22:9-10  But Doeg the Edomite, who was standing with Saul's officials, said, "I saw the son of Jesse come to Ahimelek son of Ahitub at Nob. Ahimelek inquired of the LORD for him; he also gave him provisions and the sword of Goliath the Philistine."

Why do you boast 
Psalm 10:2-3  In his arrogance the wicked man hunts down the weak, who are caught in the schemes he devises. He boasts about the cravings of his heart; he blesses the greedy and reviles the LORD.
Psalm 94:4  They pour out arrogant words; all the evildoers are full of boasting.

all day long 
Psalm 44:8  In God we make our boast all day long, we will praise your name forever.

You who practice deceit 
Psalm 50:19  You use your mouth for evil and harness your tongue to deceit.

your tongue plots destruction 
Psalm 5:9  Not a word from their mouth can be trusted; their heart is filled with malice. Their throat is an open grave; with their tongues they tell lies.

it is like a sharpened razor 
Psalm 57:4  I am in the midst of lions; I am forced to dwell among ravenous beasts--men whose teeth are spears and arrows, whose tongues are sharp swords.
Psalm 59:7-8  See what they spew from their mouths--the words from their lips are sharp as swords, and they think, "Who can hear us?" But you laugh at them, LORD; you scoff at all those nations.
