This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.
This is how we know that we live in him and he in us:
1 John 2:3 We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. (see verses 3-8)
1 John 2:5-6 But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.
He has given us of his Spirit.
1 John 3:24 The one who keeps God's commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us. (see verses 21-24)
And we have seen and testify
John 15:27 "And you also must testify, for you have been with me from the beginning." (see verses 26-27)
Luke 24:48 "You are witnesses of these things." (see verses 44-49)
John 21:24 This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true. (see verses 22-25)
1 John 1:2 The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. (see verses 1-4)
that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.
Luke 2:11 "Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord." (see verses 8-21)
John 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (see verses 16-19)
Acts 5:30-32 "The God of our ancestors raised Jesus from the dead--whom you killed by hanging him on a cross.
