Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
Dear friends,
1 Corinthians 10:14 Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry. (see verses 1-14)
Hebrews 6:9 Even though we speak like this, dear friends, we are convinced of better things in your case--the things that have to do with salvation. (see verses 1-12)
1 Peter 2:11 Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul. (see verses 11-25)
1 John 2:7 Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard. (see verses 3-11)
Jude 3 Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God's holy people. (see all Jude)
since God so loved us,
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (see verses 14-21)
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners Christ died for us. (see verses 1-11)
Ephesians 2:4-5 But because of his great love for us, God who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved. (see verses 1-10)
1 John 4:9-10 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. (see verses 9-21)
