1 John 3:19-22 Part 1 of 3

This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence: If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.

Ephesians 3:12  In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. (see verses 1-13)

1 John 2:28  And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming. (see verses 20-29) 

1 John 4:15-18  If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. (see verses 7-21)
