1 John 2:26-27 Part 1 of 2

I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray. As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit--just as it has taught you, remain in him.

I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray.
1 John 3:7  Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he (Christ) is righteous. (see verses 1-8)
Psalm 119:67  Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I obey your word. (see verses 65-72)
Proverbs 10:17  Whoever heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.
Isaiah 53:6  We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. (see all chapter 53)
Jeremiah 50:6  "My people have been lost sheep; their shepherds have led them astray and caused them to roam on the mountains. They wandered over mountain and hill and forgot their own resting place." (see verses 4-7)
1 Peter 2:25  For "you were like sheep going astray," but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. (see verses 11-25)

As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you.
1 John 2:20  But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.
Jeremiah 31:33-34)  "This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time," declares the LORD. "I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, 'Know the LORD,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest," declares the LORD. "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more." (see verses 27-34)
Luke 12:11-12  "When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say." (see verses 1-12)
