1 John 2:24-25

As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. And this is what he promised us--eternal life.

As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you.
1 John 2:7  Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. (see verses 7-11)
1 John 3:11  For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. (see verses 11-24)
2 John 5  And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another. (see all 2 John)

If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
John 14:23  Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them." (see verses 15-24)
John 15:4  "Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me." (see verses 1-17)
1 John 1:3  We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. (see all chapter 1)
2 John 9  Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.

And this is what he promised us--eternal life.
Matthew 19:29  "And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life." (see verses 16-30)
John 3:16  For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (see all chapter 3)
Galatians 6:8  Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. (see verses 7-10)
1 John 5:11  And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. (see verses 1-12)
1 John 5:13  I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.
1 John 5:20  We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. (see verses 13-21)
