John 6:10-13 Part 1 of 2

Jesus said, "Have the people sit down." There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down (about five thousand men were there). Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish. When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, "Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted." So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.

Jesus said, "Have the people sit down." 
Matthew 14:19a  And he directed the people to sit down on the grass.
Matthew 14:21  The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.
Mark 6:39-40  Then Jesus directed them to have all the people sit down in groups on the green grass. So they sat down in groups of hundreds and fifties.
Mark 6:44  The number of the men who had eaten was five thousand.
Luke 9:14-15  (About five thousand men were there). But he said to his disciples, "Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each." The disciples did so, and everyone sat down.

Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish. 
Matthew 14:19b  Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people.
Mark 6:41  Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people. He also divided the two fish among them all.
Luke 9:16  Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke them. Then he gave them to the disciples to distribute to the people.
