John 5:41-44 Part 1 of 2

"I do not accept glory from human beings, but I know you. I know that you do not have the love of God in your hearts. I have come in my Father's name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. How can you believe since you accept glory from one another but do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?" 

I do not accept glory from human beings 
John 5:44  "How can you believe since you accept glory from one another but do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?"

I know that you do not have the love of God in your hearts 
1 John 2:15  Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.
James 4:4  You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
1 John 4:8  Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him 
Daniel 11:36  "The king will do as he pleases. He will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will say unheard-of things against the God of gods. He will be successful until the time of wrath is completed, for what has been determined must take place."
Daniel 11:39  "He will attack the mightiest fortresses with the help of a foreign god and will greatly honor those who acknowledge him. He will make them rulers over many people and will distribute the land at a price."
2 Thessalonians 2:9-10  The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refuse to love the truth and so be saved.
Revelation 13:4  People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, "Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?"
Revelation 13:8  All the inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast--all whose names have not been written in the Lamb's book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.
