Psalm 46:1-3 Part 5 of 5

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.

though its waters roar 
Psalm 93:3  The seas have lifted up, LORD, the seas have lifted up their voice; the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.  
Isaiah 17:13  Although the peoples roar like the roar of surging waters, when he rebukes them they flee far away, driven before the wind like chaff on the hills, like tumbleweed before a gale. 
Jeremiah 5:22  "Should you not fear me?" declares the LORD. "Should you not tremble in my presence? I made the sand a boundary for the sea, an everlasting barrier it cannot cross. The waves may roll, but they cannot prevail; they may roar, but they cannot cross it."
Ezekiel 1:24  When the creatures moved, I heard the sound of their wings, like the roar of rushing waters, like the voice of the Almighty, like the tumult of an army. When they stood still, they lowered their wings.
Revelation 19:6  Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: "Hallelujah! for our Lord God Almighty reigns." 

and foam 
Job 9:26  "They (Job's days) skim past like boats of papyrus, like eagles swooping down on their prey."
Job 24:18  "Yet they (evildoers) are foam on the surface of the water; their portion of the land is cursed, so that no one goes to the vineyards."

and the mountains quake with their surging 
Judges 5:5  "The mountains quaked before the LORD, the One of Sinai, before the LORD, the God of Israel."
