Mark 13:1-5 Part 3 of 3

    As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him, "Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!"

    "Do you see all these great buildings?" replied Jesus. "Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down."

    As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John and Andrew asked him privately, "Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are all about to be fulfilled?"

    Jesus said to them: "Watch out that no one deceives you."

Mark 13:22-23  

"For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. So be on your guard. I have told you everything ahead of time."

Jeremiah 29:8-9  

Yes, this is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel says: "Do not let the prophets and diviners among you deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams you encourage them to have. They are prophesying lies to you in my name. I have not sent them." declares the LORD.  (see Jeremiah 29:1-23)

Ephesians 5:6  

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient.
