Mark 12:24-27 Part 1 of 2

    Jesus replied, "Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God? When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. Now about the dead rising--have you not read in the Book of Moses, in the account of the burning bush, how God said to him, 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.' He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are badly mistaken!" 

    

    Jesus replied, "Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God?"

Matthew 22:29

    Jesus replied, "You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God."

2 Timothy 3:14-17  

But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.  (see all 2 Timothy 3)

 

"When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven."  

Matthew 22:30  

"At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven."

Luke 20:353-36  

"But those who are considered worthy of taking part in the age to come and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage, and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God's children, since they are children of the resurrection."

1 Corinthians 15:42-44  

    So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.

    If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
