Mark 13:1-5 Part 2 of 3

    As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him, "Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!"

    "Do you see all these great buildings?" replied Jesus. "Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down."

    As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John and Andrew asked him privately, "Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are all about to be fulfilled?"

    Jesus said to them: "Watch out that no one deceives you." 

 

... "Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are all about to be fulfilled?"  

Matthew 24:3  

    As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and the end of the age?"

Luke 21:7  

    "Teacher," they asked, "when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?" 

Matthew 24:7  

"Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains." (see Matthew 24:4-14) 

Luke 21:9-11  

"When you hear of wars and uprisings, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away."

    Then he said to them, "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven."  (see Luke 21:5-11)
