1 Timothy 5:1-2

Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity.

Do not rebuke an older man harshly
Titus 2:2  Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, love and in endurance.
Leviticus 19:32  " 'Stand up in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the LORD.' "

Treat younger men as brothers
Titus 2:6  Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled.

older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity
Titus 2:3-5  Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.
1 Timothy 4:12  Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
