1 Timothy 3:14-16 Part 3 of 4

Although I hope to come to you soon, I am writing you these instructions so that, if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God's household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth. Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.

was vindicated by the Spirit
Matthew 12:28  "But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you."
Romans 1:4  ... and who through the Spirit of holiness was appointed the Son of God in power by his resurrection form the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Peter 3:18  For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.

was seen by angels
Matthew 28:2  There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.
John 20:11-12  Now Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus' body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.
Acts 1:10  They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them.
