Psalm 78:59-61

When God heard them, he was furious; he rejected Israel completely. He abandoned the tabernacle of Shiloh, the tent he had set up among humans. He sent the ark of his might into captivity, his splendor into the hands of the enemy. 

When God heard them 
Psalm 55:19  God, who is enthroned from of old, who does not change--he will hear them and humble them, because they have no fear of God.

he was furious 
Leviticus 26:27-28  " 'If in spite of this you still do not listen to me but continue to be hostile toward me, then in my anger I will be hostile toward you and I myself will punish you for your sins seven times over.' "
Numbers 32:14-15  "And here you are, a brood of sinners, standing in the place of your fathers and making the LORD even more angry with Israel. If you turn away from following him, he will again leave all this people in the wilderness, and you will be the cause of their destruction."

he rejected Israel completely 
Deuteronomy 32:19  The LORD saw this and rejected them because he was angered by his sons and daughters.

He abandoned the tabernacle of Shiloh 
Joshua 18:1a  The whole assembly of the Israelites gathered at Shiloh and set up the tent of meeting there.

the tent he had set up among humans 
Ezekiel 8:6  And he said to me, "Son of man, do you see what they are doing--the utterly detestable things the Israelites are doing here, things that will drive me far from my sanctuary? But you will see things that are even more detestable."

He sent the ark of his might 
Psalm 132:8  " 'Arise, LORD, and come to your resting place, you and the ark of your might.' "

into captivity 
1 Samuel 4:17  The man who brought the news replied, "Israel fled before the Philistines, and the army has suffered heavy losses. Also your two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, are dead, and the ark of God has been captured."
