Psalm 23:4

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Job 3:3-5  "May the day of my birth perish, and the night that said, 'A boy is conceived!' That day--may it turn to darkness; may God above not care about it; may no light shine on it. May gloom and utter darkness claim it once more; may a cloud settle over it; may blackness overwhelm it."
Psalm 107:14  He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains.

I will fear no evil 
Psalm 3:6  I will not fear though tens of thousands assail me on every side.
Psalm 27:1  The LORD is my light and my salvation--whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life--of whom shall I be afraid?

for you are with me 
Psalm 16:8  I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Isaiah 43:2  "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze."
