In the LORD I take refuge. How then can you say to me: "Flee like a bird to your mountain."
In the LORD I take refuge
Psalm 7:1-2 LORD my God, I take refuge in you; save and deliver me from all who pursue me, or they will tear me apart like a lion and rip me to pieces with no one to rescue me.
Flee like a bird to your mountain
Genesis 14:10 Now the valley of Siddim was full of tar pits, and when the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, some of the men fell into them and the rest fled to the hills.
Genesis 19:16-17 When he (Lot) hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the LORD was merciful to them. As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said, "Flee for your lives! Don't look back, and don't stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!"
Genesis 19:30 Lot and his two daughters left Zoar and settled in the mountains, for he was afraid to stay in Zoar. He and his two daughters lived in a cave.
Joshua 2:15-16 So she (Rahab) let them down by a rope through the window, for the house she lived in was part of the city wall. She said to them, "Go to the hills so the pursuers will not find you. Hide yourselves there three days until they return, and then go on your way."
Psalm 50:11 "I know every bird in the mountains, and the insects in the fields are mine."
