Psalm 11:1
In the LORD I take refuge. How then can you say to me: "Flee like a bird to your mountain."
In the LORD I take refuge
Psalm 7:1-2 LORD my God, I take refuge in you; save and deliver me from all who pursue me, or they will tear me apart like a lion and rip me to pieces with no one to rescue me.
Flee like a bird to your mountain
Genesis 14:10 Now the valley of Siddim was full of tar pits, and when the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, some of the men fell into them and the rest fled to the hills.
Genesis 19:16-17 When he (Lot) hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the LORD was merciful to them. As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said, "Flee for your lives! Don't look back, and don't stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!"
Genesis 19:30 Lot and his two daughters left Zoar and settled in the mountains, for he was afraid to stay in Zoar. He and his two daughters lived in a cave.
Joshua 2:15-16 So she (Rahab) let them down by a rope through the window, for the house she lived in was part of the city wall. She said to them, "Go to the hills so the pursuers will not find you. Hide yourselves there three days until they return, and then go on your way."

Psalm 10:13-15
Why does the wicked man revile God? Why does he say to himself, "He won't call me to account"? But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted; you consider their grief and take it in hand. The victims commit themselves to you; you are the helper of the fatherless. Break the arm of the wicked man; call the evildoer to account for his wickedness that would not otherwise be found out.
Why does the wicked man revile God?
Psalm 10:3 He boasts about the cravings of his heart; he blesses the greedy and reviles the LORD.
"He won't call me to account"
Job 31:14 "... what will I do when God confronts me? What will I answer when called to account?"
Psalm 94:7 They say "The LORD does not see; the God of Jacob takes no notice."
Hosea 9:7 The days of punishment are coming, the days of reckoning are at hand. Let Israel know this. Because your sins are so many and your hostility so great, the prophet is considered a fool, the inspired person a maniac.
But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted
Psalm 10:7 His (the wicked man's) mouth is full of lies and threats; trouble and evil are under his tongue.
Psalm 22:11 Do not be far from me, for trouble is near and there is no one to help.
The victims commit themselves to you
Psalm 37:5-6 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.
you are the helper of the fatherless
Deuteronomy 33:29 "Blessed are you, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will tread on their heights."
Break the arm of the wicked man
Job 31:21-23 "... if I have raised my hand against the fatherless, knowing that I had influence in court, then let my arm fall from the shoulder, let it be broken off at the joint. For I dreaded destruction from God, and for fear of his splendor I could not do such things."

in all his thoughts there is no room for God
Psalm 36:1-2 I have a message from God in my heart concerning the sinfulness of the wicked: There is no fear of God before their eyes. In their own eyes they flatter themselves too much to detect or hate their sin.

Psalm 9:15-17
The nations have fallen into the pit they have dug; their feet are caught in the net they have hidden. The LORD is known by his acts of justice; the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands. The wicked go down to the realm of the dead, all the nations that forget God.

Job 4:8 "As I have observed, those who plow evil and those who sow trouble reap it."
Psalm 35:7-8 Since they hid their net for me without cause and without cause dug a pit for me, may ruin overtake them by surprise--may the net they hid entangle them, may they fall into the pit, to their ruin.
Psalm 57:6 They spread a net for my feet--I was bowed down in distress. They dug a pit in my path--but they have fallen into it themselves.
The LORD is known by his acts of justice; the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands
Proverbs 5:22 The evil deeds of the wicked ensnare them; the cords of their sins hold them fast.
The wicked go down to the realm of the dead
Numbers 16:30 "But if the LORD brings about something totally new, and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them, with everything that belongs to them, and they go down alive into the realm of the dead, then you will know that these men have treated the LORD with contempt."
Proverbs 5:5 Her feet go down to death; her steps lead straight to the grave. (the adulterous woman)
all the nations that forget God
Job 8:12-13 "While still growing and uncut, they wither more quickly than grass. Such is the destiny of all who forget God; so perishes the hope of the godless."

For he who avenges blood remembers; he does not ignore the cries of the afflicted.
For he who avenges blood remembers
2 Samuel 4:9-11 David answered Rehab and his brother Baanah, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite; "As surely as the LORD lives, who has delivered me out of every trouble, when someone told me, 'Saul is dead,' and thought he was bringing good news, I seized him and put him to death in Ziklag. That was the reward I gave him for his news! How much more--when wicked men have killed an innocent man in his own house and on his own bed--should I not now demand his blood from your hand and rid the earth of you!"
he does not ignore the cries of the afflicted
Psalm 12:18 But God will never forget the needy; the hope of the afflicted will never perish.
Psalm 10:17-18 You, LORD, hear the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry, defending the fatherless and the oppressed, so that mere earthly mortals will never again strike terror.
Psalm 22:24 For he has not despised or scorned the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help.
Psalm 72:4 May he defend the afflicted among the people and save the children of the needy; may he crush the oppressor.
Isaiah 49:13 Shout for joy, you heavens; rejoice, you earth; burst into song, your mountains! For the LORD comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.

I will bring terror on you from those around you," declares the Lord, the LORD Almighty. "Every one of you will be driven away, and no one will gather the fugitives."
Jeremiah 49:17-18 "Edom will become an object of horror; all who pass by will be appalled and will scoff because of all its wounds. As Sodom and Gomorrah were overthrown along with their neighboring towns," says the LORD, "so no one will live there; no people will dwell in it."
