Psalm 79:2-4 Part 2 of 2

They have left the dead bodies of your servants as food for the birds of the sky, the flesh of your own people for the animals of the wild. They have poured out blood like water all around Jerusalem, and there is no one to bury the dead. We are objects of contempt to our neighbors, of scorn and derision to those around us.  

We are objects of contempt to our neighbors, of scorn 
Psalm 39:8  Save me from all my transgressions; do not make me the scorn of fools.
Deuteronomy 28:37  You will become a thing of horror, a byword and an object of ridicule among all the peoples where the LORD will drive you.
Psalm 69:7  For I endure scorn for your sake, and shame covers my face.
Isaiah 43:28  "So I disgraced the dignitaries of your temple; I consigned Jacob to destruction and Israel to scorn."
Daniel 9:16  "Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts, turn away your anger and your wrath from Jerusalem, your city, your holy hill. Our sins and the iniquities of our ancestors have made Jerusalem and your people an object of scorn to all those around us."
Ezekiel 5:14  "I will make you a ruin and a reproach among the nations around you, in the sight of all who pass by."

Psalm 44:13  You have made us a reproach to our neighbors, the scorn and derision of those around us..
Ezekiel 23:32-34  "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: You will drink your sister's cup, a cup large and deep; it will bring scorn and derision, for it holds so much. You will be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, the cup of ruin and desolation, the cup of your sister Samaria. You will drink it and drain it dry and chew on its pieces--and you will tear your breasts. I have spoken, declares the Sovereign LORD."
Psalm 80:6  You have made us an object of derision to our neighbors, and our enemies mock us.
