John 1:11-13 Part 3 of 4

He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God--children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.

Romans 8:14-16  For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. and by him we cry, "Abba, Father." The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. 
Matthew 5:9  "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God."

1 John 3:1-2  See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called the children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 
Revelation 21:7  "Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children."
