Psalm 77:17-18 Part 1 of 2

The clouds poured down water, the heavens resounded with thunder; your arrows flashed back and forth. Your thunder was heard in the whirlwind, your lightning lit up the world; the earth trembled and quaked. 

The clouds poured down water 
Judges 5:4  "When you, LORD, went out from Seir, when you marched from the land of Edom, the earth shook, the heavens poured,  the clouds poured down water."
Psalm 68:7-8  When you, God, went out before your people, when you marched through the wilderness, the earth shook, the heavens poured down rain, before God, the One of Sinai, before God, the God of Israel.

the heavens resounded with thunder 
Exodus 9:23  When Moses stretched out his staff toward the sky, the LORD sent thunder and hail, and lightning flashed down to the ground. So the LORD rained hail on the land of Egypt; ...
1 Samuel 7:10  While Samuel was sacrificing the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to engage Israel in battle. But that day the LORD thundered with loud thunder against the Philistines and threw them into such a panic that they were routed before the Israelites.
Psalm 29:3  The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD thunders over the mighty waters.

your arrows flashed back and forth 
Deuteronomy 32:23  "I will heap calamities on them and spend my arrows against them."
2 Samuel 22:15  "He shot his arrows and scattered the enemy, with great bolts of lightning he routed them." (also Psalm 18:14)
Psalm 7:13  He has prepared his deadly weapons; he makes ready his flaming arrows.
Psalm 45:5  Let your sharp arrows pierce the hearts of the king's enemies; let the nations fall beneath your feet.
