Galatians 1:21-24

Then I went to Syria and Cilicia. I was personally unknown to the churches of Judea that are in Christ. They only heard the report: "The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy." And they praised God because of me. 

Then I went to Syria 
Luke 2:2  (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.)
Acts 15:41  He went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches.
Acts 21:3  After sighting Cyprus and passing to the south of it, we sailed on to Syria. We landed at Tyre, where our ship was to unload its cargo.

Acts 6:9  Opposition arose, however, from members of the Synagogue of the Freedmen (as it was called)--Jews of Cyrene and Alexandria as well as the provinces of Cilicia and Asia--who began to argue with Stephen.

I was personally unknown to the churches of Judea 
1 Thessalonians 2:14-15a  For you, brothers and sisters, became imitators of God's churches in Judea, which are in Christ Jesus: You suffered from your own people the same things those churches suffered from the Jews who killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and also drove us out.

that are in Christ 
Romans 16:3-4  Greet Priscilla and Aquila, my co-workers in Christ Jesus. They risked their lives for me. Not only I but all the churches of the Gentiles are grateful to them.

The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith 
Acts 6:7  So the word of God spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased rapidly, and a large number of priests became obedient to the faith.

he once tried to destroy 
Acts 8:3  But Saul began to destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off both men and women and put them in prison.

And they praised God because of me 
Matthew 9:8  When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to man.
