FEAR Proverbs 9:10-12 Part 2 of 2

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For through wisdom your days will be many, and years will be added to your life. If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you; if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer.

If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you

Proverbs 3:16-18  Long life is in her (wisdom's) right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed. 

Proverbs 4:20-22  My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one's whole body.

Proverbs 8:35  For those who find me (wisdom) find life and receive favor from the LORD.

Proverbs 14:14  The discerning heart seeks knowledge, but the mouth of a fool feeds on folly.

Proverbs 9:7  Whoever corrects a mocker invites insults; whoever rebukes the wicked incurs abuse.

Proverbs 1:22  "How long will you who are simple love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?"  (wisdom speaking)

Proverbs 1:26  "I in turn will laugh when disaster strikes you; I will mock when calamity overtakes you--..."  (wisdom speaking)

Proverbs 19:29  Penalties are prepared for mockers, and beatings for the backs of fools.
