FEAR Proverbs 29:25

Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.

Fear of man will prove to be a snare 

1 Samuel 15:24  Then Saul said to Samuel, "I have sinned. I violated the LORD's command and your instructions. I was afraid of the men and so I gave in to them."

Isaiah 51:12-13  "I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you that you fear mere mortals, human beings who are but grass, that you forget the LORD your Maker, who stretches out the heavens and who lays the foundations of the earth, that you live in constant terror every day because of the wrath of the oppressor, who is bent on destruction? For where is the wrath of the oppressor?"

John 12:42-43  Yet at the same time many even among the leaders believed in him. But because of the Pharisees they would not openly acknowledge their faith for fear they would be put out of the synagogue; for they loved human praise more than praise from God.

but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe 

Proverbs 28:25  The greedy stir up conflict, but those who trust in the LORD will prosper.

Proverbs 16:20  Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD.

Proverbs 18:10  The name of the LORD is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

Proverbs 28:26  Those who trust in themselves are fools, but those who walk in wisdom are kept safe.

Proverbs 3:5-6  Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
