Psalm 58:9

Before your pots can feel the heat of the thorns--whether they be green or dry--the wicked will be swept away. 

Before your pots can feel the heat of the thorns 
Psalm 118:12  They swarmed around me like bees, but they were consumed as quickly as burning thorns; in the name of the LORD, I cut them down.
Ecclesiastes 7:6  Like the crackling of thorns under the pot, so is the laughter of fools. This too is meaningless.

the wicked will be swept away 
Job 7:10  "He will never come to his house again; his place will know him no more."
