Psalm 55:20-21

My companion attacks his friends; he violates his covenant. His talk is smooth as butter, yet war is in his heart; his words are more soothing than oil, yet they are drawn swords. 

My companion attacks his friends 
Psalm 7:4  ... if I have repaid my ally with evil or without cause have robbed my foe--...

he violates his covenant 
Psalm 41:9  Even my close friend, someone I trusted, one who shared my bread, has turned against me.

His talk is smooth as butter 
Psalm 12:2  Everyone lies to their neighbor; they flatter with their lips but harbor deception in their hearts.

his words are more soothing than oil 
Proverbs 5:3  For the lips of an adulterous woman drip honey, and her speech is smoother than oil; ...
Proverbs 6:23-24  For this command is a lamp, this teaching is a light, and correction and instruction are the way to life, keeping you from your neighbor's wife, from the smooth talk of a wayward woman.

yet they are drawn swords 
Psalm 57:4  I am in the midst of lions; I am forced to dwell among ravenous beasts--men whose teeth are spears and arrows, whose tongues are sharp swords.
Psalm 59:7  See what they spew from their mouths--the words from their lips are sharp as swords, and they think, "Who can hear us?"
Psalm 64:3  They sharpen their tongues like swords and aim cruel words like deadly arrows.
Proverbs 12:18  The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.
Revelation 1:6  In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.
