Psalm 55:15

Let death take my enemies by surprise; let them go down alive to the realm of the dead, for evil finds lodging among them.

Let death take my enemies by surprise
Psalm 64:7  But God will shoot them with his arrows; they will suddenly be struck down.
Proverbs 6:15  Therefore disaster will overtake him [the troublemaker and villain] in an instant; he will suddenly be destroyed--without remedy.
Isaiah 29:5-6  But your many enemies will become like fine dust, the ruthless hordes like blown chaff. Suddenly in an instant, the LORD Almighty will come with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with windstorm and tempest and flames of devouring fire.
Isaiah 47:9-11  "Both of these will overtake you [Babylon] in a moment, on a single day: loss of children and widowhood. They will come upon you in full measure, in spite of your many sorceries and all your potent spells. You have trusted in your wickedness and have said, 'No one sees me.' Your wisdom and knowledge mislead you when you say to yourself, 'I am, and there is none besides me.' Disaster will come upon you, and you will not know how to conjure it away. A calamity will fall upon you that you cannot ward off with a ransom; a catastrophe you cannot foresee will suddenly come upon you."
1 Thessalonians 5:3  While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

let them go down alive to the realm of the dead
Psalm 49:14  They [those who trust in themselves] are like sheep and are destined to die; death will be their shepherd (but the upright will prevail over them in the morning). Their forms will decay in the grave, far from their princely mansions.
