Psalm 55:1-3 Part 1 of 2

Listen to my prayer, O God, do not ignore my plea; hear me and answer me. My thoughts trouble me and I am distraught because of what my enemy is saying, because of the threats of the wicked; for they bring down suffering on me and assail me with their anger.

Listen to my prayer, O God, do not ignore my plea 
Psalm 27:9  Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger; you have been my helper. Do not reject me or forsake me, God my Savior.
Lamentations 3:56  You heard my plea: "Do not close your ears to my cry for relief."

hear me and answer me 
Psalm 4:1  Answer me when I call to you, my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; have mercy on me and hear my prayer.

My thoughts trouble me and I am distraught 
1 Samuel 1:15-16  "Not so, my lord," Hannah replied, "I am a woman who is deeply troubled. I have not been drinking wine or beer; I was pouring out my soul to the LORD. Do not take your servant for a wicked woman; I have been praying here out of my great anguish and grief."
Psalm 77:3  I remembered you, God, and I groaned; I meditated and my spirit grew faint.
Psalm 86:6-7  Hear my prayer, LORD; listen to my cry for mercy. when I am in distress, I call to you, because you answer me.
Psalm 142:2  I pour out before him my complaint; before him I tell my trouble.
