The greedy stir up conflict
Proverbs 14:17 A quick-tempered person does foolish things, and the one who devises evil schemes is hated.
but those who trust in the LORD will prosper
Proverbs 29:25 Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.
Those who trust in themselves are fools
Psalm 4:4-5 Tremble and do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent. Offer the sacrifices of the righteous and trust in the LORD.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
but those who walk in wisdom are kept safe
1 Corinthians 3:18-20 Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become "fools" so that you may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. As it written: "He catches the wise in their craftiness: (Job 5:13); and again, "The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile." (Psalm 94:11)
