Mark 2:6-7

Now some teachers of the law were sitting there, thinking to themselves, "Why does this fellow talk like that? He's blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?"

Isaiah 43:25
"I, even I, am he who blots out
your transgressions for my own sake,
and remembers your sins no more."  (see verses 14-25)
Psalm 32:1-2
Blessed is the one
    whose transgressions are forgiven,
    whose sins are covered.
Blessed is the one
whose sin the LORD does not count against them
and in whose spirit is no deceit.  (see all Psalm 32)
Psalm 103:11-12
For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
    so great is his love for those who fear him;
as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
    (see all Psalm 103)
Isaiah 37:35
"I will defend this city and save it
for my sake and for the sake of David my servant!"
    (see verses 21-38)
Isaiah 44:22
"I have swept away your offenses like a cloud,
your sins like the morning mist.
Return to me,
for I have redeemed you."  (see verses 21-28)
Isaiah 55:7
Let the wicked forsake their ways
    and the unrighteous their thoughts.
Let them turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on them,
and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
    (see all chapter 55)
Ezekiel 36:21-22  "I had concern for my holy name, which the people of Israel profaned among the nations where they had gone.
"Therefore say to the Israelites, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: It is not for your sake, people of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you have gone.' "  (see verses 16-38)
Micah 7:18
Who is a God like you,
who pardons sin and forgives the transgression
of the remnant of his inheritance?
You do not stay angry forever
but delight to show mercy.  (see all chapter 7)
Acts 3:19-20  "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you--even Jesus."  (see all chapter 3)
