A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people heard that he had come home.
Mark 1:21 They went to Capernaum, and when the Sabbath came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach. (see verses 21-28)
Mark 1:29 As soon as they left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the home of Simon and Andrew.
(see verses 29-34)
They gathered in such large numbers that there was no room left, not even outside the door, and he preached the word to them.
Mark 1:45 Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly, but stayed outside in lonely places. Yet people still came to him from everywhere. (see verses 43-45)
Mark 2:13 Once again Jesus went out beside the lake. A large crowd came to him and he taught them.
John 6:2 ... and a great crowd of people followed him because they saw the signs he had performed by healing the sick. (see verses 1-15)
Some men came, bringing to him a paralyzed man, carried by four of them.
Matthew 4:24 News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and he healed them.
(see verses 23-25)
Matthew 8:5-6 When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. "Lord, he said, "my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly."
(see verses 5-13)
Matthew 9:1-2 Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town. Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, "Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven."
