Mark 1:21-22 Part 1 of 2

They went to Capernaum, and when the Sabbath came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach. The people were amazed at his teaching, because he taught them as one who had authority, not as the teachers of the law.

 

They went to Capernaum, and when the Sabbath came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach.  

Matthew 4:23  Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.  (see verses 23-25, also Matthew 9:35)

Mark 2:13  Once again Jesus went out beside the lake. A large crowd came to him, and he began to teach them.

Mark 4:1  Again Jesus began to teach by the lake. The crowd that gathered around him was so large that he got into a boat and sat in it out on the lake, while all the people were along the shore at the water's edge.  (see verses 1-20)

Mark 6:34  When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.

Mark 10:1  Jesus then left that place and went into the region of Judea and across the Jordan. Again crowds of people came to him, and as was his custom, he taught them.

Luke 4:14-15  Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside. He was teaching in their synagogues, and everyone praised him.  (see verses 14-30)

John 6:59  He said this while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.  (see verses 25-71)

John 18:20-21  "I have spoken openly to the world," Jesus replied. "I always taught in synagogues or at the Temple, where all the Jews come together. I said nothing in secret. Why question me? Ask those who heard me. Surely they know what I said."  (see verses 19-24)
