Mark 1:40-45 Part 1 of 2

    A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees, "If you are willing, you can make me clean."

    Jesus was indignant. He reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!" Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed.

    Jesus sent him away at once with a strong warning: "See that you don't tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them." Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places. Yet the people still came to him from everywhere.

Matthew 8:1-3  When Jesus came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him. A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean."

    Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!" Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy.  (see verses 1-4)

Mark 10:17  As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. "Good teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?"

Jesus sent him away at once with a strong warning: "See that you don't tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them."  

Mark 5:43  He gave strict orders not to let anyone know about this, and told them to give her something to eat.

Mark 7:36  Jesus commanded them not to tell anyone. But the more he did so, the more they kept talking about it.

Luke 4:41  Moreover, demons came out of many people shouting, "You are the Son of God!" But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew he was the Messiah.  (see verses 31-44) 

Luke 17:14  When he saw them, he said, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And as they went they were cleansed.  (see verses 11-19)

Leviticus 14:2  "These are the regulations for any diseased person at the time of their ceremonial cleansing, when they are brought to the priest: ..."  (see all chapter 14)
