Jonah 2:1-4 Part 2 of 2

From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the LORD his God. He said: "In my distress I called to the LORD, and he answered me. From the deep realm of the dead I called for help and you listened to my cry. You hurled me into the depths, into the very heart of the seas, and the currents swirled about me; all your waves and breakers swept over me. I said, 'I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.' "
 
You hurled me into the depths
Psalm 88:6  You have put me in the lowest pit, in the darkest depths.
Psalm 30:1  I will exalt you, LORD, for you lifted me out of the depths and did not let my enemies gloat over me.
Psalm 69:15  Do not let the floodwaters engulf me or the depths swallow me up or the pit close its mouth over me.
 
all your waves and breakers swept over me 
2 Samuel 22:5  "The waves of death swirled about me; the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me.
Psalm 69:14  Rescue me from the mire, do not let me sink; deliver me from those who hate me, from the deep waters.

Psalm 69:2  I sink in the miry depths, where there is no foothold. I have come into the deep waters; the floods engulf me.

I said, 'I have been banished from your sight' 
Psalm 31:22  In my alarm I said, "I am cut off from your sight!" Yet you heard my cry for mercy when I called to you for help.
Jeremiah 7:15  " 'I will thrust you from my presence, just as I did all  your fellow Israelites, the people of Ephraim.' "

yet I will look again toward your holy temple 
Palm 5:7  But I, by your great love, can come into your house; in reverence I bow down toward your holy temple.
Psalm 11:4  The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD is on his heavenly throne. He observes everyone on earth; his eyes examine them.
