Jonah 1:9-10

He answered, "I am a Hebrew and I worship the LORD, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land." This terrified them and they asked, "What have you done?" (They knew he was running away from the LORD, because he had already told them so.)

 

I am a Hebrew and I worship the LORD

the God of heaven 

Daniel 2:17-18  Then Daniel returned to his house and explained the matter to his friends Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. He urged them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

Ezra 1:2  "This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: 'The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah.' "

Nehemiah 1:4  When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven.

Nehemiah 9:6  "You alone are the LORD, You made the heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything and the multitudes of heaven worship you."

Psalm 95:5  The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.

Psalm 146:6  He is the maker of heaven and earth, the sea and everything in them--he remains faithful forever.
