2 Thessalonians 3:3-5 Part 2 of 2

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we command. May the Lord direct your hearts into God's love and Christ's perseverance.

John 17:15  "My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one."

Ephesians 6:16  In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

1 John 3:12  Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brother's were righteous.

1 John 5:18-19  We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them. We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to the things we command 

2 Corinthians 2:3  I wrote as I did, so that when I came I would not be distressed by those who should have made me rejoice. I had confidence in all of you, that you would all share my joy.

2 Corinthians 7:16  I am glad I can have complete confidence in you.

2 Corinthians 8:22  In addition, we are sending with them our brother who has often proved to us in many ways that he is zealous, and now even more so because of his great confidence in you.

Galatians 5:10  I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view. The one who is throwing you into confusion, whoever that may be, will have to pay the penalty.

Philemon 21  Confident of your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even more than I ask.

May the Lord direct your hearts into God's love and Christ's perseverance 

1 Chronicles 29:18  "LORD, the God of our fathers Abraham, Isaac and Israel, keep these desires and thoughts in the hearts of your people forever, and keep their hearts loyal to you."
