2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 Part 1 of 3

The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works
Matthew 4:10  Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.' " (Deuteronomy 6:13)
1 Chronicles 21:1  Satan rose up against Israel and incited David to take a census of Israel.
Job 1:6-7  One day the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them. The LORD said to Satan, "Where have you come from?" Satan answered the LORD, "From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it."
Mark 4:15  "Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them."
Romans 16:20  The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.
2 Corinthians 2:11  ... in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15  For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.
Revelation 12:9  The great dragon was hurled down--that ancient serpent called the devil or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
