Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

Mark 13:5-6 Jesus said to them: "Watch out that no one deceives you. Many will come in my name, claiming 'I am he,' and will deceive many."
Mark 13:22 "For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect."
Jeremiah 29:8-9 Yes, this is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel says: "Do not let the prophets and diviners among you deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams you encourage them to have. They are prophesying lies to you in my name. I have not sent them," declares the LORD.
Ephesians 5:6 Let no one deceive you, with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
1 Timothy 4:1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
