1 Thessalonians 4:3-6 Part 3 of 3

It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God; and that in this matter no one should wrong or take advantage of a brother or sister. The Lord will punish all those who commit such sins, as we told you and warned you before.

 

The Lord will punish

Deuteronomy 32:35  "It is mine to avenge; I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them." 

Psalm 94:1  The LORD is a God who avenges. O God who avenges, shine forth.

Romans 2:5-6  But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. God "will repay each person according to what they have done." (Psalm 62:12; Proverbs 24:12)

Romans 12:19  Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. (Deuteronomy 32:35) 

Hebrews 10:30-31  For we know him who said, "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," (Deuteronomy 32:35) and again, "The Lord will judge his people." (Deuteronomy 32:36; Psalm 135:14) It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

all those who commit such sins 

Hebrews 13:4  Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.
